Cursed Seals
How to Create a Cursed Seal or Earn one
1) Story Event
Certain NPCs will be handing them out from time to time. If you have interest in a Cursed Seal DM Tenshi and he will CONSIDER (not necessarily say yes) involving your character in one of these plots.
2) DIY (Do-It-Yourself)
All it really takes to study Cursed Seals is a Zaki Clan Member willing to be studied, and the knowledge to do it. Requires Fuinjutsu and Ijutsu Adept to create Cursed Seals once you have this Zaki Clan member to study!
Cursed Seal Implementation
Cursed Seals are not much different from implants. It's essentially an implant of the Sage Transformation Kekkei Genkai, except more custom-fitted to the user. When you receive a Curse Mark: your character goes unconscious and you receive a 1d100 dice roll from Tenshi. This determines what happens as a result of the Cursed Seal.
Cursed Seal Awakening
Obviously this section only applies if you actually succeeded in obtaining the Cursed Seal. Hats off to you if ya did! When your character wakes up from their slumber you will experience the full power of the Cursed Mark Stage 1. You must decide at the time of the Cursed Seal which stats your Curse Mark boosts for you.
You get 3 tiers to choose from, but with the restriction of one stat per tier. These tiers can go to Strength, Constitution, Movement, or Coordination. These 3 tiers cannot go above S.
For up to 10 posts when you awaken you experience a dark surge of Senjutsu Chakra creating this darker, more violent side of you. This ends if you are knocked unconscious, killed, or a significant emotional trigger forces you to snap out of it. Once this surge of power ends, the Curse Mark recedes and you enter the training for Stage 1.
After unlocking a Curse Mark: a tier of your stamina is permanently debuffed, like the Zaki Clan, becoming inaccessible outside of a Cursed Seal state. This is because it is sapping chakra to absorb Nature Energy instead!
Cursed Seal Training
Stage 1 Training
To allow the Cursed Seal to spread and take over your body, you must be willing to let the darkness in and feed off your chakra. This takes time and patience. To retain the power you once held, you'll have to learn to become accustomed to it.
For 100 EXP you gain a post of Stage 1. In Stage 1 you gain BACK the tier of Stamina debuffed on top of the 3 tiers of stats you chose upon obtaining the seal. You can only claim a maximum of 10 posts of Stage 1.
Stage 2 Training
Now you have mastered the Curse Mark and have learned how to let it spread across your entire body. Your body mutates into a transformation all your own!
For 500 EXP you gain the Stage 2 Transformation. Unlike the Stage 1 you get the maximum posts at once. You can only access Stage 2 for 5 posts at a time. Using Stage 2 posts takes away from your Stage 1 posts also (meaning you can only use the Curse Mark's powers for a maximum of 10 posts).
In Stage 2 you regain the tier of Stamina previously debuffed, and continue to gain the 3 tiers from Stage 1. However you also gain an ADDITIONAL 3 tiers of stats to apply in a similar fashion to your Stage 1. You can only have a maximum of two tiers per stat.
You also gain a special ability for your Curse Mark among the following:
By studying the body of a Nature Clan member, the shinobi world discovered that it has an innate ability to passively absorb natural energy. It also secretes special bodily fluids that react to contact with senjutsu chakra, causing immediate physical alternations with further controlled shape-shifting quality to the user's body, along with greatly enhanced physical capabilities. By isolating an enzyme from the Zaki Clan's special fluids and mixing it with Senjutsu Chakra, one can create a cursed seal to brand others with. A person typically gives his cursed seals to gain followers.

Note: You must have C-Rank Stamina before you can try to implant a Cursed Seal into you!
1: Your character dies. You make a new character but instead of taking the percentage of your EXP you simply start out with the same amount of EXP as the deceased character. This is to serve as a "sorry for the dice killing your character" boost. This Critical Failure is simply to showcase the potentially lethal nature of the experiments.
2-20: The Curse Mark fails to merge with you and your body becomes crippled from the procedure. You lose -2 tiers to all physical stats that must be retrained (cannot go lower than D). If this debuff doesn't affect your stats at all then you must simply pay 400 EXP to recover.
21-40: The Curse Mark fails to merge with you and your body requires recovery from the procedure. You lose -1 tier to all physical stats that must be retrained (cannot go lower than D). If this debuff doesn't affect your stats at all then you must simply pay 200 EXP to recover.
41-50: The Curse Mark fails, but your body will easily recover from the procedure. No EXP required.
51-70: The Curse Mark barely succeeds. You need to recover from the procedure. Costs 300 EXP to be able to enter fighting topics again.
71-90: The Curse Mark fairly succeeds but your body still needs to recover. Costs 200 EXP to enter fights again.
91-100: The Curse Mark succeeds perfectly. It's as if you were born for this. No EXP necessary.

Note: Curse Seals, when activated, will always bring out the darkness in the character. You should not be acting the same in your Curse Seal state as your base. You're not necessarily evil, but you're definitely more violent and possibly more chaotic.

Enhanced Stamina: You gain enhanced chakra allowing you to regain lost chakra and fight for longer durations. Can recover 20% of your stamina ONCE for free due to the Cursed Seal.
Regeneration: You possess the ability to regenerate from injuries. Can recover from an A rank of damage for free ONCE due to the Cursed Seal.
Custom: Ask Tenshi for ideas on this. If there's something not on this list but meets a similar power level, then he might be able to allow it.

Cursed Seal Drawbacks
- Darker personality: As mentioned before your personality becomes darker and more violent when using the Cursed Seal. Your base personality might even change to a degree.
- Exhaustion: When you use up ALL of your Curse Mark posts you suffer enormous exhaustion. On top of the tier of stamina debuffed from the Curse Mark normally, you suffer a SECOND tier of stamina debuffed if you've used up ALL of your available Curse Mark posts. If this puts you below D then you are paralyzed and helpless for 5 turns.
- Manipulation: He/She who casts the mark on you will unfortunately have some sway over you as the Curse Mark in part binds you to them. This is nothing more than an RP consequence. They cannot force you to do something your character would legitimately not do, but you cannot completely ignore them either. Talk with your fellow player about this before you agree to accept a Cursed Seal from them. (Obviously if that character dies then this RP consequence is null).
