Weapons When you're purchasing a Weapon or Armor from the General Store, it goes: Purchase Blocks Required + Buy Weapon/Armor Cost = The Store Crafts the Weapon/Armor For You!
If you're creating a weapon with the CRAFT SKILLS instead of buying from our store, it goes: Purchase Blocks Required = Create Weapon or Armor yourself~ Note: But keep the prices below in mind if you're making your own crafted items for others.. so you know what you should be charging them when they buy from you!
Basic Weapons/Supplies
Kunai - Costs 5,000 Ryo Per Set (3 per set) The kunai is a universal knife for both combat and utility purposes. Kunai have been used to pierce holes in wall for easier climbing. Despite popular belief they are NOT supposed to be used for throwing (in MOST situations), but are a simple melee weapon well suited for the average ninja for both slashing and stabbing purposes. If throwing them for explosive tag purposes then the range for kunai is roughly 20m. Kunai require 1 block of Iron or Steel per set. Shuriken - Costs 5,000 Ryo Per Set (5 per Set) The shuriken is a tool hailing from the samurai era, that transferred over to the Shinobi Era. They are ninja stars used for easy throwing projectiles (roughly 30m range). There are various shapes and designs for shuriken. Shuriken require 1 block of Iron or Steel per set.
Explosive Tags - Costs 5,000 Ryo per Set (2 per Set) Explosive tags are usually attached to kunai, they're premade with Fuinjutsu set to explode a few seconds after. You can slap them on the ground however to set a trap instead, or even attach them to a substitution. Explosive Tags deal a C rank of damage per tag. Anyone within 5ft of the tag will get hit. Explosive Tags require 1 block of Wood per set.
Smoke Bomb - Costs 5,000 Ryo per Set (2 per Set) Smoke bombs are made from clay and infused with chemical elements in order to create artificial smoke. These are very important for either trying to hide one's moves or make a quick escape. Creates 1 turn of smoke to block vision, ergo causing a -1 Tier to Tracking if you do not possess some sort of ability to locate them without sight (or if you possess a Dojutsu). Requires a block of Clay to make a set. After that one turn the smoke is blown away. Can only affect a single target at a time.
Flash Bomb - Costs 10,000 Ryo per Set (2 per Set) Slightly more advanced than smoke bombs, these actually create a blinding flash of light rather than a cloud of smoke. They achieve the same effect as smoke bombs, but work with a greater efficiency since dojutsu users will be affected by this. Creates 1 turn of blinding light to block vision, ergo causing a -1 Tier to Tracking if you do not possess some sort of ability to locate the target without sight. Requires a block of Clay to make a set. After that one turn has passed the target will recover. Each flash bomb is only efficient enough to affect a single target.
Food Pill - Costs 10,000 Ryo per Pill Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting. Allows one to recover 50% of their chakra and satiate their appetite for a day. Can only take a Food Pill once per topic.
Ninja Wire - Costs 2,500 Ryo per 10 ft (maximum 50ft per single purchase) This wire is a versatile ninja tool used for either guiding weapons, binding an opponent, and rappelling (a single spider-man swing). A mostly situational tool. Binding/Guiding weapons is usually accompanied with some kind of Bukijutsu technique, but the rappelling is kind of standard for everyone. No block needed to make this.
Substitution Log - Costs 10,000 Ryo per Log (Maximum 3 Logs per character) How does the substitution jutsu work? Many people think it's just a straight up teleport, but it's much more tricky than that. To use the substitution jutsu one must have pre-planning and careful awareness of one's battlefield. The best use of these logs is to place them while you're hidden, to set up your substitution jutsu and then cover them up with the cloak of invisibility. Then when you cast the jutsu, you can switch your location with one of these placed logs! Sets up the Substitution Jutsu. Requires a block of Wood per log.
Caltrops - 5,000 ryo per Set (Set of 10) Caltrop is a weapon used to wound and slow down a foot or mounted opponent. Requires a block of Iron for D rank damage, a block of Steel for C rank damage. If an opponent steps on them they automatically take the damage.
Advanced Shinobi Weapons (Requires Bukijutsu)
Ninjato - 10,000 Ryo Per Blade Popularly known as the ninja sword, the ninjato is apparently the standard weapon used by the ninjas. However, there is no historical evidence which states that such a weapon was actually used by the real ninjas of Japanese history. The Ninjato is supposed to resemble the katana, the primary weapon of the samurai. However, it is shorter than a katana. As such, it has a greater resemblance to the wakizashi. It has a flat blade and a single edge. Being a short sword, its length usually does not exceed 80 cm. Requires a block of Steel and a block of Wood to make.
Katana - 15,000 Ryo Per Blade The katana is a long sword which was mainly used by the samurai and is unique to Japan. Even though they were meant to be used by the samurai, the ninjas often used them as and when required. A traditionally-made katana is considered to be one of the finest types of swords in the world. The katana has a blade length of over 60 cm. It has a single edge but the blade has a curved appearance. The grip is long so that the katana can be held with two hands easily. The guard or tsuba can be either circular or square. Requires a block of Steel and a block of Wood to be crafted.
Tachi - 15,000 Ryo per Blade Tachi is a Japanese sword, older than a katana. Tachi sword is longer and more curved than katana and it was primarily used by a mounted samurais. Requires a block of Steel and a block of Wood to be crafted.
Hook Swords - 15,000 Ryo for a Set (Set of 2) Hook sword is originally a Chinese weapon, sometimes associated to Ninjas. Hook sword was often used in pairs. It served for defense but also for an offense, it allowed the user to disarm opponent. It had a sharp edge up until the hook, which is what was used to disarm or trip opponents (thouguh the hook could also do some slashing damage as well). A very exotic and bizarre weapon. Requires 3 blocks of Iron or Steel to be crafted.
Tanto - 10,000 Ryo per Blade The tanto is a Japanese dagger. Like the katana, it was mainly used by the samurai. However, ninjas were also known to use them. While it mainly served an ornamental function, the tanto could be easily used in battle when required as they were kept sharp. The tanto was designed to be used in the form of a stabbing weapon. Nonetheless, they were good for slashing too. The blade of a tanto could be either single-edged or double-edged. Requires a block of Steel and a block of Wood to be crafted.
Chakra Blade - 10,000 Ryo Per Knife Chakra Blades are kind of a brass-knuckle/trench-knife hybrid. They're used as close-range weapons for hand-to-hand fighters. Although it's still Bukijutsu, the style is very similar to taijutsu in its operation, making it more of a Buki-Taijutsu weapon. A lot of the times people wear two of these, but it's possible to make it work with just one. Requires a block of Iron or Steel per Knife.
Senbon - 10,000 Ryo per Set (Set of 10) Senbon are metal needles with a point at both ends. They often serve a medical purpose, being used to strike acupuncture points. They have little killing power, but can be thrown with great accuracy. A user with proper medical knowledge, however, can effectively use senbon in battle to incapacitate or even kill their target should they aim for vital spots. To make these needles more effective, the user can poison the tips of the senbon. An added benefit of throwing these at the enemy is that they are smaller than a kunai or a shuriken, making them harder to see and dodge. Requires a Block of Iron or Steel to make. Ijutsu Knowledge recommended.
Fuuma Shuriken/Giant Shuriken - 10,000 Ryo Fūma Shuriken (風魔手裏剣, Fūma Shuriken) are large, four-bladed projectile weapons. The most commonly used ones can be collapsed for easy storage, leading to its nickname Shadow Windmill (影風車, Kage Fūsha). Although a Fūma Shuriken is normally characterised by curved blades, the blades can be of any shape, such as the straight-edged ones which cannot be folded. Even the giant square-shaped ones classified as Fūma Shuriken. The shuriken can be used in melee combat by spinning the blade in one's hand to slash and stab the opponent directly. Requires 2 blocks of Steel or Iron. C Rank Strength Required to Wield.
Bo Staff - 15,000 Ryo The staff was a popular weapon during the age of the ninjas and the samurai. It is still quite popular today as it is used in a variety of martial arts. There are varying lengths of the staff and each is given a different name. The longest of them is the Bo which is around 1.8m long. This staff is best used for parrying, whacking, and poking. It is a very versatile weapon despite its simplistic design. Requires 3 blocks of Wood or Hardwood.
Kama - 15,000 Ryo Kama is a one-handed sickle. The original sickles had a longer blade than handle. Kama are sometimes used in pairs. The sickle can be used for devastating slashing and stabbing damage. Requires 1 block of Wood and 1 of Iron or Steel
Kyoketsu-Shoge - 10,000 Ryo The Kyoketsu-shogei was a knife with a hook attached to one end of a chain or a cord. On the other end of the cord was a metal ring. The knife could be used in close quarters or swung around by holding on to the ring. The ring provided a weighted end for trapping and hitting enemies. Requires 3 blocks of Iron or Steel.
Chigiri - 10,000 Ryo Chigiriki is a Japanese equivalent of European medieval flail, reinforced often and tuned by a spikes or by a mini blades. The chigiriki was used by the Kiraku ryu and the Araki ryu ninja schools. Requires 2 blocks of Iron or Steel.
Yumi - 7,500 Ryo Yumi is the Japanese word for a bow. More specifically, it refers to the asymmetrical bows that are traditionally used in Japan. ‘Ya’ is the term for the arrow. The yumi and ya were popular among the samurai since there were few projectile weapons during their era. For the same reason, ninjas used them. A typical Yumi is quite tall with a minimum length of two meters. In most cases, they exceed the height of the archer. The ‘Ya’ is also exceptionally long at nearly 1m in length or even longer. Ninjas were known to use "bo hiya" or fire arrows with their Yumi but also poisoned and explosive arrows. Ninjas used also a short bows (mechanically serve no difference here... so if you want this to be a longbow or shortbow it's fine either way). Requires 1 blocks of wood to craft
Arrows - 10,000 Ryo Per Set (Set of 10) An arrow is a fin-stabilized projectile that is launched via a bow, and usually consists of a long straight stiff shaft with stabilizers called fletchings, as well as a weighty (and usually sharp and pointed) arrowhead attached to the front end, and a slot at the rear end called the nock for engaging the bowstring. Requires 1 block of Wood and 1 block of Iron per Set!

Gunbai - 15,000 Ryo Gunbai, from the Sino-Japanese roots meaning "military-apportioned [fan]", were a specialized form of fan used by samurai officers in Japan to communicate commands to their troops. Unlike regular fans, gunbai were solid, not folding, and usually made of wood, wood covered with metal, or solid metal. These could be used to defend the user or to whack away opponents. Like Tessen, they can be also used to channel certain Wind Release techniques. Requires 1 block of Iron or Steel and 1 block of Wood or Hardwood.
Mankiri - 20,000 Ryo Mankiri is a chain weapon that's around 4ft long. he use of the chain was taught in several different schools, or ryū (流), as a hidden or concealed weapon and also as a self-defense weapon. The kusari-fundo was useful when carrying a sword was not allowed or impractical, and samurai police of the Edo period would often use a kusari-fundo as one of their non lethal arresting weapons. Chains could be used to whack at opponents, but their better usage is for the use of trapping and grappling opponents by wrapping it around people with skillful usage. Requires 2 blocks of Iron or Steel.
Kanabo - 25,000 Ryo Kanabō and the other related types of these club-like weapons were constructed out of heavy wood, or made entirely from iron, with iron spikes or studs on one end. One or both ends of the wooden type clubs could be sheathed in iron. Kanabō type weapons came in all sizes and shapes with the largest ones being as tall as a man and a two-handed weapon while the smaller lighter ones were primarily one-handed and the length of a forearm. Requires one of the following for the one-handed variation: 3 Blocks of Iron or Steel / 2 blocks of Hardwood with 1 block of Iron or Steel Requires one of the following for the two-handed variation: 4 blocks of Iron or Steel / 3 blocks of Hardwood with 1 block of Iron or Steel

Requires : 3 blocks of Steel with 1 block of Wood
Kusarigama (Sickle and Chain) - 17,500 Ryo The kusarigama (鎖鎌, lit. "chain-sickle") is a traditional Japanese weapon that consists of a kama (the Japanese equivalent of a sickle) on a kusari-fundo – a type of metal chain (kusari) with a heavy iron weight (fundo) at the end. Attacking with the weapon usually entailed swinging the weighted chain in a large circle over one's head, and then whipping it forward to entangle an opponent's spear, sword, or other weapon, or immobilizing his arms or legs. This allows the kusarigama user to easily rush forward and strike with the sickle. Also, the weapon is said to have the highest mortality rate of any and all weapons of its time.[2]
A kusarigama wielder might also strike with the spinning weighted end of the chain directly while still outside the range of an opponent's hand weapon. Requires : 3 blocks of Steel or Iron with 1 block of Wood

Crafting System This is for the CRAFTERS with the CRAFT Skill for either Weapons or Armors!
Here on Genesis Crafters get the ability to not only create weapons and armor WITHOUT paying for the cost of production (rather only needing the blocks necessary to make items), but they get the ability to apply attachments to their weapons to make them unique! They can also accept money from other players to make unique weapons and/or armors~. These players should be from allied villages however.. As what self-respecting Ninja would make weapons for the enemy?!
A Weapon or Armor gets a maximum of 2 attachments. Keep this in mind when building it! We should also note that a person can only possess TWO Special Weapons and ONE Special Armor at a time (to keep the game fair and prevent over-doing it).
Weapon Attachments
Chakra Conductor (20,000 Ryo) Chakra Conductors reduce the cost of a Chakra Flow technique by 1 rank (i.e. turning a B rank Chakra Flow into costing a C rank)! This reduction cannot reduce a cost below a D rank.
Fuinjutsu Bonding (10,000 Ryo; Requires Crafter or Owner to possess Fuinjutsu to apply it) A weapon bonded with Fuinjutsu is tied to the owner, allowing them to summon it to their hand from afar for D rank chakra. This prevents a ninja from having their weapon taken away from them or stolen!
Hardened Weapon (20,000 Ryo) A Hardened Weapon is refined to the absolute pinnacle of the weapon's durability! A Weapon's durability is doubled, making it harder to destroy!
Special Ability (20,000 Ryo; Requires Fuinjutsu) A Special Ability is an A rank technique that is forged into the weapon itself! This technique can only be used once in a topic (and Staff must approve it!). It takes no energy from the wielder or creator, but rather is used by the weapon itself! This includes a one-time restoration of the user (aka Mystical Healing Palm), or a special elemental attack (equivalent to an A-Rank Ninjutsu). The options are boundless! Just make sure to keep it reasonable~
Chakra Drain (30,000 Ryo) A Chakra Drain is a very dangerous component. It's outfitted with a special device that actually drain chakra upon connecting with an opponent in a strike! It steals a C rank of chakra from the opponent per successful hit! Note that the sword is draining the chakra, and not the user themselves. They cannot claim the stolen chakra and add it to their own (that lies in the realm of Samehada alone). Requires a person to actually DAMAGE the target with it. Cannot steal chakra that does not exist (meaning can't drain a corpse).
Armor Attachments
Hardened Armor (40,000 Ryo) Hardened Armor is the very pinnacle of protection in battle! Only master crafters are able to produce something so wonderful, so magnificent, so EFFICIENT! The armor can take sturdy punishment, doubling its protection for the user!
Special Ability (60,000 Ryo; Requires Fuinjutsu) Much like the Weapons: Armors can also be forged with a special once-per-thread A Rank Technique! Staff must approve the ability. It takes no energy from the wielder or creator, but rather is ingrained into the Armor itself! This includes a one-time restoration of the user (aka Mystical Healing Palm), a one-time barrier ninjutsu to shield from an attack, etc.! The options are boundless! Just keep it reasonable please~
Chakra Inductor (25,000 Ryo) A chakra inducted armor is designed with special metals that counteracts Chakra! This creates an added outer defense against chakra-based attacks! Any chakra based attack, whether Chakra Flow or Ninjutsu itself, is considered a rank lower in power for the purposes of dealing damage to this armor! Does not induct the user's jutsu.
Chakra Conductor (30,000 Ryo) Chakra Conducted Armor has the opposite effect of Inducted Armor. Rather than focusing on the external functionality, the internal metals have been graced with chakra conductors, which make for improving the efficiency of Armor Jutsu! An Armor Jutsu costs one less rank to cast (can't go lower than a D rank however). Does not conduct enemy jutsu.
Chakra Drain (15,000 Ryo) A Chakra Drain is a very dangerous component. It's outfitted with a special device that actually drain chakra upon getting hit! It steals a B rank of chakra from the opponent per successful hit on the armor! Note that the armor is draining the chakra, and not the user themselves. They cannot claim the stolen chakra and add it to their own. Requires a person to actually DAMAGE the wielder's armor with Taijutsu. Cannot steal chakra that does not exist (meaning can't drain a corpse).

Antidotes Requires the same money and Intelligence Attribute as the Poison to create. You require the appropriate Medical Ninjutsu/Ijutsu Skill to make these. Application of an antidote negates the effects of a poison.
