The Level System
Here on Naruto Genesis we use a "Class" system to determine a person's overall stature in the Naruto World. This determines what level your character roughly is in battle. For reaching a milestone in Total EXP, you earn yourself a "Level Up" which allows you to gain access to more skills and elements (to showcase your character's growth in experience and wisdom as a Shinobi).
At Endgame - you get access to up to TWO Unique Slots. (Check the later books for info on this).

Experience and Grading SystemLike many Naruto RPGs out there we use an Experience system to determine the progression of our characters. Experience is given for just posting! You claim your Experience at the end of a thread, where Staff will do the necessary calculations to award you your EXP. This is the Standard Rate for EXP per Post:
10 EXP / 1 Post
5 EXP / NPC Post (As long as you're not RPing with yourself)
Possible Bonuses for EXP:
For Group Threads = +20% per Person involved in the thread
If in a Training/Sparring/Mission Topic = +25% Gains
If in a PVP Topic (aka a deathmatch, rather than a spar or brawl) = +50% Gains
If in an OPEN PVP Topic (Aka a battle royale type deal or any other multi-person thread rather than a death match) = Double Gains
Great Writing: If there is great character development and great writing, then a percentage of the WC will be added as part of bonus EXP. The specific parameters will be reserved for Staff's eyes only.
Plot Event = Double Gains
Rules on Experience:
1) Quality matters. If your thread feels gamey and grindy - then you will either receive a penalty to your EXP Gains, or you will find yourself negated a reward entirely. 2) Fun matters. If you are being toxic or a bully to the people in the thread for OOC reasons, then your gains will be punished. We allow people to play asshole characters, but don't be the asshole yourself. You should know how to toe the line on this. 3) Stay in character. If we find you abusing your character's power level to pick on people you don't like OOC, your gains will be punished and you may face disciplinary action from the Staff. 4) Be patient with your fellow RPers. We all have IRL stuff going on sometimes. If your thread isn't going as fast as you'd like, then you can ask to skip (if no one has responded within 72 hours and no one has posted an absence to excuse their disappearance). 5) Keep the flashbacks/internal stewing under a strict leash. If we find you're milking WC for the sake of progression, you will either receive a penalty to your EXP gains or you will find yourself negated a reward entirely. It's one thing to be writing an in-depth story, and another entirely to be writing 5k posts in socials where nothing is happening, with your character going on a deep internal monologue. Solo Topic Rules1) You get a total of 4 Solo Topics per month that you can claim for EXP. Although you can create more than this, 4 is the maximum you can turn in for grading.2) No EXP is claimed from the topic itself, or bonuses from training. Rather your EXP is granted based off the quality of the post (which accumulates a reward in the form of a percentage of the total WC). 3) A maximum of 2000 words will be graded in each Solo, regardless of its actual Word Count. 4) Solo topics are expected to be written with quality and actual stories involving your character. If the piece feels like an OOC attempt to grind for EXP, then it will be negated an EXP reward~. Shit reward for shit work and all that. EXP Conversion Rules EXP can be converted into Ryo if one chooses. This comes from people hiring you or recognizing your great skill (and therefore dedicating funds to you and/or your goals!)
The Conversion Rate is 100 EXP per 10,000 Ryo
This is obviously SPENDABLE EXP only.
