Attributes
Here at Naruto Genesis we use a stat-system like many others. It's difficult to RP Naruto with anything less, as there are many different kinds of warriors/fighters in Naruto. However we have Attributes and "Sub-Stats". Attributes are the more simplistic stats that determine very specific niches for a character. Sub-Stats (explained in the next section) are the traits that make up those stats. Attributes are what matter and are what you should list in your topics.These "Attributes" are:
Physical Attributes
1) Might - A person's physical endurance and physique/muscle. This allows them to lift heavy objects and also to take more damage and punishment than a normal human being plausibly could at higher levels! Grants Armor.

2) Speed - A person's quickness in all aspects of their ability. Their movement speed. Their striking speed. Speed governs all these. THIS is the stat that competes against a person's tracking to determine whether or not they can be followed or targeted.

3) Power - A person's striking force. This is how hard they strike in close quarters combat whether they're using a weapon or their bare fists. Whether it's the physical force of their great physique or simply the kinetic force from their movement speed, this determines your offensive potential in Close Quarters Combat.

Mental Attributes
4) Intelligence - A person's ability to gather information and strategize against their opponents. This determines the amount of jutsu they can use, the potency of Genjutsu or countering Genjutsu, as well as how many skills you can learn.Often overlooked, but a great mind can be just as dangerous as a great body on the battlefield.

5) Tracking - A person's ability to track someone's movements whether by sight, sound, smell, or extrasensory stimuli (chakra sensing). This allows people to respond even to people who are faster than they are (competing against a target's Speed) and hit them with Ranged Attacks. Represents the ability to also predict a person's moves.

6) Stamina - A person's ability to use chakra or exert physical stress on their body. This determines how long their body can hold out. Unlike the other stats - this stat is determined by the physical and mental facilities of someone. Only through both physical and spiritual (mental) energy can someone realize the true potential of their chakra. Stamina is special, and therefore will be discussed in its own special section. Determines how much chakra you can use.

But what does it all mean? Why are there stats and sub-stats?
The answer to this is simple. Speed, Physical Might, Intelligence, and Chakra itself is made up of multiple physical facets. You can move fast but still be trackable if your movements are linear. You can be have a strong physique but not have much power behind your punches. You can be book smart but not necessarily have a great sense of strategy. You can be great at aiming but not have a good sense of how to hit a moving target. These sub-stats are to help you build your character and decide how you want them to be.SUB-STATS ARE LIKE BUILDING BLOCKS. THEY MERELY SHAPE YOUR ABILITIES BUT ARE NOT A DIRECT REFERENCE FOR THEM! ATTRIBUTES ARE WHAT MATTER.
