About Natsuki:
Natsuki isn't closed off - in fact she's probably the easiest person to read from an emotional standpoint - and doesn't keep any part of herself hidden should a person happen to ask. With a strong moral center, she finds it rather difficult to deceive. Any sort of deception is a struggle for her, and it would be fair to consider her honest to a fault. While this wouldn't exactly make her immensely popular with her peers, it does mean she wouldn't deviate from what she believes is the right course of action, or the truth. Likewise, she has no trouble voicing her opinions.
Once her position is known, she's unyielding; not the type to shy away from adversity simply because someone, or something, is causing dispute. She's the irritating person that refuses to relinquish their stance until it has been thoroughly disregarded by proper evidence. As a curious and intellectual individual, she excels in educational endeavors, and will defend her beliefs with a fierce, calculating disposition. That said, logic is an ideal way to reason with her. If someone were to point out the flaws in her line of thinking, she wouldn't turn them away. She'd listen to the criticism and make applicable alterations to her own behavior if needed.
It shouldn't come as a surprise then, that Natsuki, loves a challenge. She thrives on it, and uses imaginative means to tackle problems. She has a vivid sort of mind - the kind that only develops from reading countless books as a child and young adult. It's well suited to match a near unbreakable focus on the task at hand. Despite this, she's not overly competitive. If anything, she prefers to help others learn. In that regard, she's both patient and extremely kind. She rarely sees the need to tear someone down in order to build them up, and has little tolerance for bullying, or bigotry. She'll leap to the defense of others being discriminated against, and hardly cares for how she herself ends up being perceived.
As far as law-breaking goes, Natsuki is a neutral force. She isn't so arrogant to assume she understands everything, but, also realizes that a society is in a constant state of flux. Laws are not perfect and occasionally need to be mended or eradicated entirely. It is necessary at times to bend social constructs in order to ensure that the individual has not only the freedom to become a person of their own choosing, but also provides the greatest amount of happiness to the most people. While she won't compromise her own morals, if she believes that something is wrong, she will put herself in direct conflict with that force.
If someone gets past the harsh intellect, the blunt honesty and the unyielding principles, they would find it challenging to discover a more loyal friend than Natsuki. In truth, she's a pure-hearted teenager that holds no preconceptions about those she interacts with. She'd rather let others define themselves for her, than jump to often wrong conclusions ahead of time. Bonds with her are formed for life, and if you're looking someone to always be honest, regardless of the situation, and a person whom would leap through literal flames to protect you, than you'd want Natsuki around. An easy way to draw her attention would be to ask for her assistance; she'll usually be more than willing to spare her time.
Conversely, making an enemy of Natsuki would be ill advised. Despite how kind she can be, she'll not only hold a person accountable, but will never forget them if they cross her. She holds grudges, and will not shy away from skirting the fine line of the Law to carry out her own version of justice. Simply put upsetting her is not the greatest idea, she makes foes for life. While she may not see in black and white, she certainly has no qualms with drawing lines in the sand that should never be crossed if a person wishes to remain on her good side. There are certain things that just shouldn't be pressed.

When Natsuki Uchiha graduated, she expected a rapid change to routine. Instead however, she discovered that such altercations were sheltered by more red-tape than she desired. That red- tape: D-Rank Missions. As a Genin, the lowest rank of Ninja in her village, the tasks assigned were simple, and while yes she agreed the skill-set she possessed made her effective in those tasks, they were relatively mindless endeavors: find this, retrieve that, watch this, babysit that. At a certain point, she wished for an actual challenge - did they not believe that she could handle something of real substance? Granted, she did have to get slightly clever to retrieve that lost cat; actually distracting it with a clone of herself. Bushin no Jutsu, an academy technique, apparently decent enough to trick an animal. She smiled at the memory; that cat gave her more trouble than those brat Academy Students she had to supervise a week prior.
Solitude. The peaceful quiet of her parents backyard did wonders to calm her. She nearly punched a hole in the wall of their home after being assigned another 'safe' mission. It provided pay sure, but, also ensured her safety which is apparently paramount when it comes to someone that bears the name Uchiha. Actually, she had come to despise that name; while she couldn't prove it, she deduced it was part of the reason she hadn't as of yet been supplied a C-Rank assignment. What did they think she couldn't take care of a few lowly bandits to protect a merchant on route to another village? Even if that happened to be the case, they could pair her with another Genin and the success would be ensured. Nope, this time she had the privilege of tracking a dine and dasher! Someone had been eating ramen and then running off without paying - she'd really moved up in the World. The scroll said she should identify the culprit and report him to the proper authorities; she didn't even get to bring them in herself. No confrontation required.
"It's bullshit," she said, punctuating the statement with a thrown Kunai to the target twenty meters to her East at the end of her parent's property. It struck. If her mother happened to come out on the porch at that moment, she may have been in deep. Thankfully, that old door meters behind Natsuki didn't creak in the slightest. To be fair, she didn't fault her own assessment. They were biding their time, handing her one task after another until she would be protected best. Eventually they'd slip her into a team that hardly saw action. That's what she believed at any rate. Frankly she wished she knew if the orders came from her parents, or the higher-ups closer to the Hokage. She told them day one she didn't need to be coddled. Tracking a thief (most likely a child), she laughed.
Saru. Tatsu. Inu. Tora. Her hands formed the seals one after another with practiced excellence. She slipped no Chakra in just reinforced that muscle reaction. Sighing, she shifted into a few more: Uma. Hitsuji. Ushi. She rested on the last one holding her hands in the Seal's shape as she peered from one end of the yard to the other. Recently trimmed, she sniffed, the aroma of fresh cut grass drifted up her nostrils. Her nose twitched, and then she sneezed, loudly, losing her hand positioning in the process. Using her sleeve to wipe her nose, she stood and stepped down off the porch. Thump. Thump. Thump. Someone knocked at the door. She tilted her head listening for her mother's footfalls. A few moments passed, and then, there they were soft pitter-pats against hardwood floor.
The voices were muffled, but there were clearly two persons waiting at the door, which Natsuki ignored blatantly, and instead of eavesdropping, went to retrieve her Kunai. She didn't rush, and merely walked the distance. Upon arrival, she paused standing before the training dummy for a second. Thereafter, she ripped the armament out (tearing some of the stuffing in the process), and proceeded to stow it in her pouch. She could hear footsteps through the house now, heading in her direction. Taking a breath, she already had a funny feeling rising in her gut; she knew what this was about. Might as well deal with the ramifications now . . . she turned and began walking to her home. The door creaked and opened with her mother standing in the doorway. There were two shadowy visages standing close behind her.

Appearance:
Natsuki is a slender teenage girl of slightly below average height for her age. She stands at about 5 feet 2 inches and has long hair; its hue a dark brown, it notably splits at the ends if not groomed properly, and given its length (falling past the middle of her spine), is usually tied off into a side pony-tail, or otherwise kept in check by her forehead protector - which often serves as a hairband rather than its actual namesake purpose. Her eye color is normally a deep brown, or occasionally a steely black depending on various factors like lighting or angle upon which they are viewed. Most notably however, her gaze would change entirely should she awaken and use the Sharingan.
