Yuki Clan
Yuki Clan History
The Yuki Clan (雪一族, Yuki Ichizoku) lived in the Land of Water. Some time ago, the country was in the midst of a civil war. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja in combat, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the gruesome battles still lingered in the minds of the people, causing wide-spread persecutions against those with the Kekkei Genkai. Because of this, the Yuki clan, whose members carried the Ice Release Kekkei Genkai, went into hiding for their own safety.
Haku and his mother, now both deceased, were the only known members of this clan. What happened to the rest of the clan is unknown, but it is assumed that they were either killed or, like Haku's mother, went to live peaceful lives living as normal people, without revealing their true bloodline. Memories of the clan still linger, its members and kekkei genkai being called "cursed" even during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
However, from then onward the Clan began to reemerge. With the Shinobi Alliance, the stigma against Kekkei Genkai was ended, and the few scattered remnants of the Clan began to reveal themselves in their offspring. New generations of the reborn Yuki Clan came into light, with new Ice Release shinobi. The upside to this clan's restoration was the Hidden Mist Village got a new military force. The Ice Shinobi made up some of the finest Hunter-Nin and Assassins in all of their ANBU Black Ops, thanks to their secret technique "Crystal Ice Mirrors".

The Kekkei Genkai (Hyoton) Mechanics
Ice Release (氷遁, Hyōton, Viz: Ice Style) is a nature transformation kekkei genkai, requiring a combination of Water and Wind. The Land of Water's Yuki clan was feared for the power of their Ice Release, forcing its members to go into hiding to escape persecution. In Kakashi Hiden, Kahyō and Rahyō are ice users whose family was conquered by Kirigakure decades earlier. Because Kiri did not value their lives, they both defected and settled in the Land of Waves. In the Boruto anime, Ryōgi from the Land of Snow can use Ice Release.
Haku, a descendant of the Yuki clan, can make mirrors of ice that he is able to enter and instantly travel between. His ice is resistant to fire, experiencing little to no melting despite the heat. Kahyō can plant ice particles on targets, causing them to freeze to death if they don't constantly use their chakra to keep themselves warm. Her Ice Release is dependent on moisture in the air, preventing her from forming ice in dry conditions. Rahyō encases his hands with ice, strengthening his taijutsu strikes and making it easier for him to block opponents' taijutsu. Ryōgi can shoot shards of ice at targets.
An Ice Release user's presence can lower their surroundings' temperature, causing snow to fall in the immediate vicinity. Similarly, Ryōgi is shown lowering his own body temperature so that his movements will not activate thermal sensors.
Ice Release is weak against Earth Release, for it's hard solidness creates blunt force capable of shattering the Ice.
Ice Release is Strong against Fire and Lightning Releases, because Fire has a hard time burning it and Lightning requires more stress to maintain its electrical charge against the extreme cold.
Ice Release is Neutral against Water and Wind Releases.
