As the day rises in Kumogakure and the sun starts his reign over the clouds, the birds start chipping and the village starts getting back to life as people begin their daily routine. Be it heading to work or getting something for breakfast, everyone was just getting their day started. Except for two certain individuals on a hill. One of them was a brown tall man with white hair and looked to be on his 40's. He had short hair and a receding hairline, standing on the top of the hill with both of his arms crossed and his eyes closed. His only clothing were his shinobi sandals and black long pants, leaving his muscular top exposed. The man appeared to be above top shape physically, being extremely muscular and towering over most people, standing at a proud 6'4 ft. A chain was rolled on his waist like a belt, forming several loops.
"I can feel the Sun rising.. .Are you going to give up or are you finally getting this done? I don't have all day!" Says the man, still with his eyes closed and his arms crossed.
"Sh...ush... up...an...fite!" Says the young girl at the foot of the hill, barely being able to stand up and let alone speak as she looks exhausted. Her eyes half closed as she struggles to stay awake and her skill has dust and marks all over her like she fell down on the ground for miles and miles. Her long golden hair tied on a ponytail was all messed up and the cloth she used to tie her hair was a step away from giving out, holding on to a few strands. The rest of her clothing was on a poor state, a black jumpsuit with one of the sleeves ripped out and the clothing is full of rips, torns and even a few cuts. Her left sandal and shinguard were missing and her hands were calloused and had a few scratches in it, her palms and knuckles had a bit of blood in it. From the looks of it, its clear that they've spent all night training and who knows how many hours. It will only end if she manages to make her sensei open his eyes.
"Ok... Here I go!" She says after catching her breath, kneeling down to the ground and picking up a few stones and throwing one on his direction. The man simply waves with his left hand and quickly deflects the stone making it fly down the hill and disappear as it rolls off into the distance. With a smile on her face the young woman uses the last of her strength in a second wind maneuver, putting everything into one attack. As she gets closer to her target she lets a few rocks drop along the way and even throw some to the side as she jumps around, in the intent of masking the sound of her footsteps as she makes her way up the hill, jumping from stone to stone. This was an arduous task as she felt her legs almost giving out but she kept pushing it, until she got face to face with him.
As she got up the hill she almost fainted as the exhaustion caught up to her. It took all of her will to stay awake and double of that to face the man that was right in front of her, the same one that effortlessly evaded all of her attacks so far and pushed her down the hill. She doesn't have the strength to climb up anymore and if she gets pushed down again its all over. He won't attack her first but he won't hesitate to push her down with all of his might and this time she may get seriously injured by it, although he sometimes saves her with his chain if it seems that she will get a bad fall, trouble is that they leave marks as those chains squeeze her flesh.
Wiping away the doubts and thoughts out of her head she starts her attack with a punch with her right fist. The man simply grabs her arm with his left hand and prepares to throw her away but at the same time she uses her knee to try to hit his stomach, failing as he uses his hand to grab her leg and as he was on his way to throw her off she threw her left arm to the back and used her body as a lever for a left leg kick using her free leg, using the momentum of the rotation to hit his shoulder right as he threw her. The hit didn't have too much effect on him but it served as a lever to get back to him and just above his shoulders. With the left arm that she threw back she took advantage of the movement to reach into her tool kit and pull a kunai out of there, a smile popped out in her bloodied lips and she threw it aimed at his face. "Sweep Kick: Close quarters murder!"
The man bit the Kunai and opened up his eyes irritated with the name that she just gave her 'technique' if someone can call it that. His dark eyes sparked with anger as he simply dropped her and let her almost lifeless body roll down the hills. The young woman rolled till the foot of the hill and didn't have the strength to move a muscle, although she had a large smile on her face. The smile that screamed victory! She finally made him open his eyes. It could mean the death of her but she finally did it.
"I already told you that you should stop naming your attacks! They aren't jutsus and they can barely be called martial arts, you're just doing a normal kick and a normal kunai throw! You don't need to name every shuriken throw! You're just telegraphing your attacks your big idiot!"
The man screamed at her at the top of his longs. Kudo-sensei was really rash on his training methods and his words. He hated any form of 'telegraphing' and was an advocate of just fighting and getting it over with. He taught her plenty of things and most of then includes a finger to the eye or a kick to the nuts. Kudo-sensei only cared about getting his opponent laying on the ground defenseless or completely dead, either way works for him. As he continued on his rampage of words Harabe almost bust into laugh, being impeded by her weakness state. As he heard her short laugh he looked at her confused, knowing that it was the laugh she did when she pulled something on him.
"I know it... I only said it out loud because I knew that I couldn't make you focus on the fight but I knew how to piss you off enough so that you'd fight me at least half serious... I... Won..."
Harabe passed out from exhaustion with a smile on her face, she just about had some strength left for her last words before fading out. Kudo sighed and took a deep breath, jumping from atop the hill to land close to his student and picked her up on his shoulders, staring his walk towards her home. While he wanted to be angry at her he couldn't as deceiving your opponent and working with your wits is what he taught her. He felt a bit of pride as he noticed that she got his attack pattern from the training and used it on her last effort. She punched him first as she knew that he always grabbed her arm to avoid a punch and used the rest as way to not get knocked down the hill before being in a position to anger him enough so that he would've open up his eyes. The man sighed and a smile crossed his face as he made his way into the village.
"I taught her well."
