Name: Water Release: Hidden Mist Jutsu
Rank: D Complexity
Classification: Hidden Mist Village technique, Ninjutsu, Water Release
Type: Supplementary
Range: All
Hand-Seals: Seal of Confrontation
Description:
This technique is a specialty of Kirigakure ninja. Users fill the air with mist and control its thickness with their chakra. Once the mists are thick enough that opponents cannot see, that in turn means they cannot manage much defense against the user. Zabuza Momochi famously used this technique to perform assassinations.
Unless someone possesses some type of Sensory technique, the Silent Killing technique, or the Byakugan they lose a -1 tier to Tracking due to their inability to see inside of the mist as their ability to track their opponents movements is greatly hindered. This goes for everyone in a topic including allies and the user themselves. If they possess some kind of Tracking Bonus from a Dojutsu like the Sharingan, then it is also NULLIFIED due to the blinding Mist.

Drawbacks:
Affects everyone in a topic including the caster. Mist costs a C rank of Chakra ever turn. If the caster is defeated then the jutsu is dispelled. Requires C-Level to learn.

Name: Water Release: Water Prison Jutsu
Rank: C Complexity
Classification: Water Release, Kiri Secret Technique, Ninjutsu
Type: Supplementary, Melee
Range: Melee
Hand-Seals:
Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out
Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out
Description:
This technique traps a target in a sphere of water; the water can either be drawn from the surroundings[2] or expelled from the user's mouth.[3] The water that the sphere is made from is noticeably heavy,[2] which restricts the target's movements and can make breathing difficult.[4] As such, those trapped within the water prison cannot ordinarily escape on their own. Neji Hyūga was able to free himself by simultaneously releasing chakra from all of his tenketsu, destroying the prison.[5] In Akatsuki Hiden, Kisame Hoshigaki escaped by increasing the volume of water within the prison beyond what it could contain, causing it to burst.
In order to maintain the prison, users must stay in contact with the sphere, typically by keeping an arm submerged within it. For this reason, water clones can be used in combination with water prisons, either by having the water clone attack other targets while the user maintains the prison,[6] or by having the clones themselves form the prisons, leaving the user free to act. In cases where a water clone forms the water prison, the water of the clone's body can be used as a source for the prison.[4] In the anime, a more advanced usage of this technique makes contact not necessary, allowing users to trap targets from a distance.
Grapple an enemy within a sphere of water. If used with a C rank amount of chakra, you grapple them with C rank power. If used with a B rank of chakra, then B rank of Power. If used with an A rank of chakra, then A rank of power. Cannot go above that. Every turn they will suffer damage equivalent to the power of the Jutsu - 1. (I.e. a C rank Sphere deals D rank per turn, B rank a C rank, an A rank a .

Drawbacks:
If the sphere is hit with more power than it can hold it causes it to collapse. Requires the caster to trap an arm to keep them trapped, as well as force them to stay still during the casting.

Name: Silent Killing
Rank: C
Classification: Kiri Secret Technique, Taijutsu, Sensory
Type: Supplementary
Range: Self
Hand-Seals: N/A
Description:
As the name suggests, this technique is simply a soundless method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user moves silently, the attack cannot be anticipated and defended against. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away. Some shinobi also opt to use a cover such as mist or even frost to rob their opponents of their field of vision and then attack them.
If used with Taijutsu only: Your movements cannot be detected by sound. Costs a D rank of stamina per post to maintain this effect as it takes careful technique to maintain.
If used with Taijutsu + Sensory: Your movements cannot be detected by sound, and you can hear your enemies heartbeats allowing you to find them with ease. You do not suffer any penalties under blinding mists, darkness, or any of the like while this is active. Costs an extra D rank of chakra per post to maintain this effect.

Name: Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique
Rank: S
Classification: Water Release, Kiri Secret technique, Ninjutsu
Type: Projectile
Range: 50m
Hand-Seals: Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird
Description:
A large volume of water is directed from a preexisting source or expelled high into the air from the mouth; to manipulate so much water at once requires a great deal of chakra. Once high enough, it cascades down onto the targeted area, resembling a giant waterfall. The force of this waterfall is great enough to hollow out the ground, washing away everything in the area. In the aftermath, whatever remains will appear devastated, as though some sort of natural disaster has just occurred.
S Rank Power, S rank Speed

Name: Water Release: Water Mirror Jutsu
Rank: S Complexity
Classification: Ninjutsu, Water Release, Secret Technique
Type: Counter
Range: Self
Hand-Seals: Charge (3)
Description:
The user creates a large, flat, circular pool of water in front of their opponent. Its surface acts like a mirror, perfectly reflecting the attacking targets. By then hooking onto and rotating the "mirror" 90° with their staff, the reflections emerge and materialise from the mirror, where they collide with the mirrored targets. As these reflections use the exact same technique as their counterpart — regardless of its type — they counter the attack completely, while repelling them in the process. However, upon impact, the reflections disperse into water.
Can Create a Replica of one's opponent that for one attack copies their Jutsu (effectively canceling them out). Cost of the Replica is equal to the Attack of which they are both copying and canceling.

Drawbacks:
Despite being a Mirror, they are not actually using the element/jutsu their attacker is using. It is still a Water Release Ninjutsu so if someone is using an Earth Release technique for example, they will win the clash as Earth > Water. This Jutsu is only used to counter and repel incoming attackers, not to damage them. Lasts for a single post. Requires A-Level to learn.

Name: Water Release: Water Heavens Convergence
Rank: A Rank Complexity
Classification: Ninjutsu, Water Release, Kiri Secret Technique
Type: Projectile, Barrier, Precise, Power
Range: 100m
Hand-Seals: Charge (5)
Description:
This technique enables the user to control water and moisture around oneself much like Gaara controls his sand. It can be used to block most incoming attacks, bind or drown opponents, and shape the water into various attacks, allowing the user in conjunction with the Summoning Technique to allow water-based summonings to fight in areas that it normally need water to move around by either trapping the target in the same water or manoeuvring the water to allow the summon to chase the target. It is able to extract and utilise groundwater, and as is very effective most areas, but useless in rocky areas.
Can be manipulated into various different "modes":
C-A Rank Water Barriers to protect the user

Name: Water Release: Mist Rain
Rank: S
Classification: Ninjutsu, Water Release, Kiri Secret Technique
Type: Supplementary
Range: All
Hand-Seals: Ram → Dog → Rat
Description:
A technique known by Kirigakure hunter-nin. The user makes rain that absorbs any chakra that it comes in contact with, as long as it's not of the same signature as the original user. The effect of this technique is powerful enough to absorb Utakata's Soap Bubble Ninjutsu and Naruto's Rasengan.
Negates Ninjutsu up to S rank of Water Release, Fire Release, Wind Release, and Lightning Release for both the user's enemies and allies. Does not negate Genjutsu, Summoning, Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, Puppetry, Ijutsu, Fuinjutsu. Does not affect Chakra Cloaks like Lightning Release Armor or Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. Does not affect Bijuujutsu.

Drawbacks:
Cannot absorb X rank Ninjutsu, for the chakra released is too powerful for the rain to dissolve fast enough. Cannot absorb the chakra from Earth Release techniques, as the Elemental Configuration is too solid for the rain's absorption rate to matter in time. Cannot absorb chakra from Solid-Based Construct Elements like Steel Release, Wood Release, Crystal Release, or Magnet Release's Sand Jutsu. Allies are just as affected by this Jutsu as the user.
Costs an A rank of chakra per turn to upkeep. Lasts for a maximum of 3 turns for casting (meaning you have to reactivate it after 3 turns). Requires A-Level to learn.
