Name: Kaito Senju
Age: 13
Village: Konohagakure
Rank/Title: Genin
Clan: Senju Clan
Element: Earth Release
Skills: Taijutsu Adept, Ninjutsu Novice
Appearance:
Kaito is a bit small for his age, still having quite a bit of a baby face on him that makes people assume he's a little younger than he actually is. He's got aqua blue eyes with messy brown hair. He wears baggy clothes.
Face Claim: Ryuu -Akagami No Shirayukihime
PGP/Sexuality: He/Heterosexual
About You: Kaito is a very kind boy, probably more so than the usual kid. He wants everyone to get along, and tries not to leave people out of things. He will usually defend those who he sees as needing aid from a bully. This makes him great at coordinating with others, as he has the respect of a lot of his classmates. He knows how to foster good relationships which helps create team synergy on the battlefield but also for the village in general. Kaito is a little bit of a goof however, and will sometimes make jokes that don't resonate well with those around him. He tries to avoid anything he might think is offensive, but sometimes his jokes are just silly instead. Kaito was never the best student at the Academy, as he isn't the smartest kunai in the holster. He's not dumb either, just has a hard time concentrating on things sometimes.
On the battlefield - Kaito is very direct in his fighting style. He focuses on defending his teammates with Earth Style, and if the opportunity calls for it he tries to take his opponent head-on. He's not below using the environment to his advantage in a fight, but he hardly ever fights his opponents from long-range. He prefers close-quarters combat above all else, as it is where he is most comfortable.
Kaito's dream is to be a splendid shinobi worth praise. He wants to protect everyone in the village, and make his Clan proud!
Kaito's biggest flaws are that he's a bit stubborn. He doesn't like to give in, even when he should. He's always looking for a way to win, even if he's completely outclassed. He also has a bit of a temper when he sees someone he cares about getting hurt, and that can mess up his tactical ability (which isn't always the best to begin with).

It was a sunny summer day in Konohagakure no Sato. The sun was beaming with bright light, the warm glow brimming with heat. Kaito Senju woke up, his hair a bit of a mess. Blue eyes glowed, the Senju ready to begin another day of training. Rising to his feet, standing atop his bed, Kaito leapt onto the wooden floor with a sharp thud. He was excited to get some practice in. In a few days he'd find out who his squad members were, and he couldn't wait. He wondered who it would be. Maybe that Akimichi kid, Chijin. He seemed fun. At least Kaito knew he'd always bring snacks on missions. Or perhaps he'd be with that Hatake kid named Tashi, though he was a little weird and moody. He might end up bringing down the morale of his team, though Kaito supposed he could always try to cheer the guy up. Maybe they'd cancel out? Kaito supposed that would be okay.
It was no use continuing to wonder these things, he decided. It was a few days away and he had no way of finding out before then. Better to focus on his own training and just see where things went from there. He ran down the stairs, where his mother and father were waiting for him.
"You're late, son," his father said to him.
Kaito bowed, letting out a nervous laugh.
"Sorry, father."
His father let out a forceful sigh.
"Try to be on time from now on. It's important for a shinobi to follow the rules. And in this house we eat right at sunrise."
"I understand."
Kaito sat down and ate his breakfast alongside his father. The two of them ate eggs and a platter of fruits. Kaito ate everything on his plate, and swallowed it down with some juice. They didn't talk much.
"So you're starting your work as a Genin soon?"
"Uhuh."
"The world of shinobi is a rough one. Make sure to stay on your toes, and use your head. Listen to your instructors, and proceed cautiously."
"Okay."
When Kaito was done he bid his father farewell and ran to the training field. He had a lot of work to do. The young Senju warrior spat out some Rock Clones from his mouth, as a stream of rock began to morph into the Senju's form. His brown hair, his blue eyes. Even the clothes on his back were copied to the smallest detail. Kaito let out a rather amused grin. He was clearly impressed with himself. They were well-made.
"Alright, dopple-me's! Time to show me what you're made of. Can any of you defeat the real me?" the caster Kaito said to his clones.
"Pft. We'll take you down no problem!" Rock-Clone-One said.
"Yeah!" the other two Rock Clones cheered in solidarity.
Kaito made a Taijutsu stance, keeping both of his hands half-bent outward. His fingers were relaxed. This was going to be fun. Three against one. But they had only 10% of his chakra, and he had the other sixty-percent in his corner. He would not be outdone! His clones rushed at him, and the young Senju made sure he was ready...
An hour later... and Kaito was exhausted. It had been a hard-fought battle, but he had narrowly managed to defeat his three Rock Clones. Fighting three-against-one was hard, even if it was against his own clones. They continued to overwhelm him in numbers. Between explosive tags, kunai, shuriken, and whatever ninja tools he had had on him... his clones were relentless in keeping him on his toes. He was covered in dirt, scratches, and a few bruises. He needed to work harder. But wait... wouldn't that make the fight harder? His clones would get stronger too, no? Perhaps he needed to learn some more jutsu. He clearly didn't know enough. With more jutsu it was possible he'd have been able to handle the fight a bit better. In the field he would be fighting real foes, not just clones. They would not be easily toppled.
Kaito understood he had a long way to go...
