 An inhabited island exists off the coast of the Land of Water. This is the site of the Kirigakure Chunin Exams. It is full of dangerous wildlife and there is a shortage of drinkable water (a great irony). Unlike most survival exams - this takes place in a single day to ensure the health of the Genin involved. |

 The Kushiro Port is located in one of the Western Islands of Mizu no Kuni. Since opening, improvements have been made to it as a core port in the World economy. It is located in the center of the town, providing a culture of unique, comprehensive tourism complex with a market, souvenir shops, and restaurants. The magnificent nature scenery is extended in the hinterland of the port areas, and seasonal foods are served and fully satisfied in the district all around the port. |

 Kirigakure (i.e. Hidden Mist Village) is the Hidden Village of the Land of Water. As the village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Kiri has a Kage as its leader known as the Mizukage, of which there have been many in its history. Befitting its name, the village is surrounded by a thick mist, with several mountains in the background, making it difficult to find by foreigners. Kirigakure's architecture is composed of several cylindrical buildings, with the Mizukage's office being the widest and largest. Most of the buildings have vegetation growing on their roofs. |
